A1 Series
A1-Combo
Combo
The larger A1 brings a 256 × 256 × 256 mm build volume to the same open-frame family. It keeps the automatic calibration and fast toolhead of the A1 mini while giving you more room for helmets, jigs and multi-part prints. This Combo configuration is listed with the AMS lite.

Features
What makes this model different
More room for real work
At 256 mm per axis, the A1 can print parts that do not fit the A1 mini. The open frame keeps the toolhead and bed easy to reach for maintenance and material changes.
Why it matters: A larger build volume avoids splitting models into sections and gluing them later.
Multi-colour with the AMS lite
The AMS lite adds multi-spool feeding for multi-colour or multi-material prints. It is part of the Combo configuration in this catalogue and is not included with the standard A1.
Why it matters: Multi-colour parts and support-material workflows become practical without manual spool changes.

FAQ
Questions about this model
- Does the standard A1 print in multiple colours?
- Multi-colour printing uses the AMS lite. The standard A1 is listed without it; the Combo configuration includes it.
- Is the A1 enclosed?
- No. The A1 is an open-frame printer, which is why Bambu Lab’s table lists high-temperature and reinforced materials as not recommended.
